Stars and Spools Finish

I finally finished up the binding on the Stars and Spools quilt. This is just something that I made up as I went along, and I enjoyed working with the reproduction era fabrics or ones that seemed to mimic that color scheme and look. All of the applique and hexies and quilting was done by hand.

Quilting continues here and there on the Scrappy Granny quilt…I took a photo when the morning sunlight was streaming in.

Then this has nothing to do with quilting but I got a good laugh. I put these plastic nubby protectors on the furniture at night or when I am going to be out for awhile.

My sons dog just made his own arrangement to avoid the protector and still be up there! My dog Lily is on the floor in the corner thinking what a bad boy Koopa is to not play by the rules :)
