Then when I got Valerie’s mail? The mood changed to this :)

Thank you, Val :)

Stay warm! I’m hunkered down in front of the fire, -20 or colder tonight with wind chill! xo Deborah

  3. Haha, loved the mood change photo! And of course the pup on the sofa. They’re such users, aren’t they! LOL Who can not love them! It was -20F this morning and we’re expecting a heat wave of -15F by tomorrow morning. Got two fires going. Hope you stay warm. Snuggle up to that sweet pup! :-)

I watched a movie on Amazon last night. I think it was called “Who Gets the Dog.” It was pretty cute and had a very talented dog starring in it with a couple of unknowns.

Just knowing that this surprise made you happy, makes ME happy! I can see those pretty blues being put to use in your latest start!
One year, for my birthday, I asked the girls to just go to a nearby quilt shop and buy me a quarter yard of anything they liked. What fun it was to open their choices! I should do that again this year because I can never think of anything I need for a gift.

You are so very welcome!! And you’re post brightened my day as well. (I literally chuckled outloud at your dog pictures!!) Oh man, my husband and I were watching the weather news this morning in awe of how bad the snow is back east for you guys!! I remember how horrible last year was for us and am grateful that artic air is missing us here in Oregon. We have just enough snow one the ground to make it feel like winter…but nothing overwhelming. Stay warm and safe.

  12. The photos really helped to describe the mood change… what a fun pick-me-up!

Getting happy mail is definitely a great way to experience a mood change!

  14. Lovely fabric choices, and I know they will end up as beautiful blocks for a quilt piece. Stay warm and safe this frigid cold weekend. :-)
