Blogger’s Quilt Festival : Fall 2015

Regular readers have seen this quilt quite often but I have to do a new post for the Blogger’s Quilt Festival over at Amy’s Creative Side. I’ll keep it short :)

This top was finished towards the end of September, 2014.

I began quilting it at some point mid-winter or so 2015. I quilted indoors in cold weather and outdoors in warm weather.

It was taken to my mom’s house as a gift and here’s my little grandson posing with it :)

    This is just magnificent. The colors and the hand stitching are just perfect. I remember seeing it in the hoop last year as you worked on it – a labor of love. I love hand quilting and I wish you much luck in the quilt festival.
    That is quite a handsome young man sitting in the rocker.

    Great choice! Samoa’s are my favorite GS cookie too – none left of those in the freezer but I do have some other ones =) Just wait until this year – being in charge we might have lots of cookies.
    Time to get them settled so I can hand quilt my hugs and kisses!

      No Joyce ( or anyone ) Don’t Vote for Me! LOL I join for the random prizes that anyone can get, and the community ! There are some extremely talented entrants that deserve the nominations and votes and those are the ones that get mine ! :)
