Reading Ms. Toody Goo Shoes Photo Diary for March and the reminder to start one for April ( and link up in May )

Her photo diary post

The gist of it is that you take a photo every day for the month of April…create a post about it, and then link up with her and Claire from a little CLAIREification between May 1 and 7. Check here for more info. I committed to doing / trying this for the month of April since it’s new and I wanted to see if I could keep up. I don’t lead all that much of an exciting life…so for more excitement you’d better check out the party :)

This is an interesting concept! I’m not sure I could do this because I tend to forget things like this! Congratulations on getting an entire month of photos – well done!

  2. You have an interesting life and always take the best photos! This is a great idea. I’m going to do a little summary tomorrow. Sweet hugs, Diane

  3. Nana Diana says:

What a great idea. This the 3rd one of these I have seen and it is so much fun. Great photos!!! xo Diana

  4. Amy says:

It’s fabulous, Deb! Your photos had me smiling (the grandkids, Feet), or saying Wow (bluejay, doves, hyacinths), throughout…you are such a talented photographer. Thank you so much for playing along! Trust me, my life isn’t that exciting…I just happened to have an unusual April! Now it’s back to laundry and washing dishes!

  5. Corinne says:

This is fun, isn’t it? I love your April 22 and 23 the most! The first one is too cute and the second, beautiful!

  6. AnnMarie says:

I loved being with you each day in April. I love the simple things of everyday. Great post! I linked up too! It was fun.

  7. You and your camera have been busy. Beautiful shots.

  8. Grandma Kc says:

I would love to do this! I think it is such a fun idea but it really doesn’t belong in AmaraLand — so I will just have to look at yours! And I am going to go look at others, too! I really like this idea and I loved your pictures!

    • debralynnpugh says:

If you like it you could do it! “AMARALAND” Is a PLACE and TIME …take pics of things around that place and time ..your flowers, house, where she plays, etc…mixed in with your time with her there and elsewhere :)

  9. Fun idea for documenting a month in your life. I enjoyed seeing your various photos for each day.

  10. I liked you idea of sharing you monthly daily activities. Great way to also look back and see what you have accomplished! I think I might try, but dont’ know if I could make it to the end?

    • debralynnpugh says:

Cathy, about half way through I didn’t think that I’d keep up with it either! :) But Ms.Toody Goo Shoes had done these for 2 months already ( pointing out in encouragement to us that February was mostly about snow ) so I gave it a try. She inspired me, and her posts are always fun :)

  11. Joyce says:

Despite the weather, April was a good month for you! So, you say you don’t lead “an exciting life” but it is one full of peace and contentment – an enviable situation! I like my family, pets, quilting and wildlife feeding stations too. We’re both fortunate!

  12. It certainly looks an interesting and productive month for you. I was surprised at how similar in some aspects yours was to mine, except my doves were nesting by the house! Have a great weekend. x

  13. Lovely post…I also enjoyed your handstitching in previous posts.

    • debralynnpugh says:

Thank you Valerie…I can’t find your blog ( it says PVL ) and I do remember figuring it out the last time, but can’t seem to on this round

  14. Zenda says:

I always enjoy your photos, you do such a great job! I’ve been doing a monthly review for awhile now and it’s a lot easier (and less messy) than scrapbooking. Enjoy May!

  15. Kathi says:

Love the bird photos! Thank you for sharing this at the HomeAcre Hop; I hope you’ll join us again this Thursday.
